Fred, I know that as you pursued the more serious business of politics, you tried to distance yourself from your most notable role in TV, the loveable goofball Gopher on the Love Boat. It is just like when we are called into a life of service to God, we try to distance ourselves from our past as bumbling, wandering fools. But it is exactly that, in our weakness, that God can manifest Himself, through us. And it is our past who shapes who we are today. If we don't remember where we've been, we don't know what direction we are headed. Fred, I thank you for your testimony, this example of howGod can use us in His work, if we will just believe in the One He has sent and I pray that you have only begun to see the beginning of what work He has planned for you.
