Father, the powers that be that withhold food from the starving exalt themselves against the knowledge of You. Bob has spent the last two decades fighting against those powers, spending all the political and popular capital he has. I pray that You pour out Your Spirit on him. Refill him and let him know that You have not abandoned him or the world. As Christ said, “if you love Me, feed My sheep”. In this way, Bob shows deep love for You. Renew his faith. Draw him close to Your heart and let him not grow weary of doing good.
