Father God, You have delivered Elie from the hands of the evil one so that though him, Your mercy can be personified. May he speak prophetically through Your Spirit of Your great love and abounding grace. May Your peace dwell within him as he admonishes others to reconcile their differences. May he have Your word bound up in his heart, so that Your eternal truths can cut through the temporal hostilities and emotions of this world. Thank You Lord for sparing his life so that he may be a witness of Your mercy..
