Larry, yours has been a life of pain and abandonment and you have taken solace and comfort in the dark corners of this world. You seem to think of God as a caricature of Jerry Falwell, condemning you and wanting to take joy in your eternal damnation. Well, He is not. He is waiting for you. Waiting for the prodigal to return home. You know that you long for the comfort of His arms. Get rid of that damned foolish pride, or it will be just that. Just begin to walk back towards Him, and He will run to you and celebrate your return.
