Father, You have raised up Mekhi from the streets of Harlem, where so many young men fall prey to the violence of our culture. I thank You this day, that You have kept Mekhi alive and free. I thank You, Lord, for all of the people that you have placed in his life to help cultivate the great talent with whichYou have blessed him. As he considers the great things You have done for him, instill in him an even greater compassion for those young men struggling against those pressures. I pray he speaks hope into their lives, and just as he has been set free and made alive, that many will see, and follow, believe, and fear their God. I pray that You lavish upon him even more blessing, challenging roles, and a great sense of Your peace.
