Father, I pray that Nancy will put her confidence in You, and seek the things that are eternal. I pray that her newfound position of power will not cause her to ignore Your calling. I pray she is willing to lay this crown down in exchange for Your garland of grace. I pray she will use this new influence to forward the agenda of the only special interest group that matters, You and Your divine plan. May she seek Your face on every issue that comes before her and may she not be shy about acknowledging Whom she serves
