Dennis, the Lord would say to you that enduring hardships and keeping your moral bearings in times where taking certain stands can get you ostracized is a testing of whether you will truly keep His commands or just pay lip service to them. I pray Dennis that you would help lead those who would teeter on the brink of selling out their values for political acceptance to stand firm in their convictions, and I pray also that if we can not hold these convictions and still have love and compassion for the least of His children, that we should reevaluate whether these values are based on His commands or a politcal agenda. I pray the peace of Christ to dwell within you.
