Adam, I sense that you aren't even sure if you believe in God, and if you do, He is the arbitrary "man upstairs" who cares very little for you unless you step out of line, and then He has the lighting bolts handy. I want you to know that although He has the power to wipe us all out with a single breath, He is merciful and forgiving. I pray that you will discover the tender loving Father, the faithful friend in Christ, and the guiding Holy Spirit. I pray that you will forget about the mistakes of the past, and seek an eternal future in Him.
