Jon, you have made a great career out of being witty and cynical and it is good to have a discerning spirit that doesn't just take things at face value. But it seems that a lifestyle of cynacism would soon become burdensome with little cause for joy and wonder. I know you adore your children and they bring you untold joy. God tells us that unless we become more like children, filled with wonder and awe, that we will not be able to enter His kingdom. So I pray now Jon that you would lay your burdens down and allow wonder to satiate your being. Find rest in His love for you and joy in His neverending mercies. Be childlike. Be renewed. Run into the arms of your heavenly Father and have Him show you great things.
