What the Lord knows is that in this 2-dimensional world of beauty and glamour, are caught many 3-dimensional people who long do delve deeper than a magazine page will allow. I pray that through His power, Tyra, that you will be able to discern the difference between the make-believe world of fashion and the eternal kingdom of God. May you be able to speak everlasting truths to young women about their matchless worth to Christ Jesus and the eternal beauty of a righteous and redeemed soul. Make known the great things He has done for you. May your true calling be to get far more of these young ladies into the Lamb's book of life than into the pages of Cosmo.

hahahaha nice. I liked this little prayer for Tyra on her birthday. I feel that in todays world everything runs around looks and style for women. Alot of tv shows, magazines, and just the plain general media portray that women should be skinny and gorgeous while men can remain fat and lazy. Most commercials you see, if it involves a women they are beautiful, but men in most commercials are old and anything but handsome. It bothers me and a lot of women i know that the world is somewhat run by a mans visual needs. Why cant we look at sexy abs and men butts considering in many movies today women have to put up with images of boobs boobs everywhere! What the hell lol
