Tiger, I know that this has been a hard year for you. To lose your father, your mentor, your champion leaves a deep painful void in your life. Know from the depths of your sorrow, God hears your cry. Know that He blessed you with a father that wished to impart to you knowledge that transcends far beyond the game of golf. The best way to honor this gift of God is to never forget the wisdom he imparted, always the remember the love he poured out, and the sacrifices made on your behalf, to become not a great golfer, but a great man known more for the love he showed than the putts he sank. Make your daddy proud, and that will bless the heart of your heavenly Father as well.
