Father God, I pray for Slater, but even more I want to pray for the church in The Sudan. I pray for Slater as he pours himself into this cause, trying to raise an awareness for real persecution in Africa, while in America we like to play persecuted. Lord, bless these people who, by proclaiming Your name, are subject to unheard of brutality. Yet they sing. They sing Your praises with no holding back. They are all in. I pray now, Father, that You would stand and make the nations tremble. That Your eternal ways will permeate Your people and strike fear into the hearts to those who raise a hand against them. Show Yourself Lord and be their defender. Let Slater see fruits of his labor, and may we as a people, learn from Your children in The Sudan to be all in and not just paying You lip service. Open doors for Slater, Father, and make Your will for him clear.
