April 5 - Roger Hazel

April 5 - Roger Hazel

April 5 ( 4 : 5 )
.
" All the nations may walk in the name of their gods; we will walk in the name of the Lord our God forever and ever"
Micah 4:5
.
.
For Roger Hazel, Music minister for Dixie Lee Baptist Church in Lenoir City, TN
.
Roger, while many around you, even those who have broken bread with you, have walked in the ways of their own gods, formed of their own images, You have remained faithful to the nae of the Lord our God. I feel the Lord has blessed you with an ability to see the counterfeit versions of grace and mercy, and lovingly guide people back to true grace and true mercy. The mercy that required the blood of the Lamb. I pray that you will continue to call people through your music, and through your prayers, just as the shepherd gently gathers his flocks.

April 4 - Gary Stripling

April 4 - Gary Stripling

April 4 ( 4 : 4 )
.
“Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God”
Matthew 4:4

.

For Gary Stripling, worship leader and consultant in Jacksonville, Florida
.
Gary, as I pray for you, I feel a warmth. A warmth that I feel when the Holy Spirit is present. You exude His presence. I pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to work in you and through you. I pray that you will be so in tune with the movements of the Spirit, that you are able to let go of all of your agendas to follow where He leads. Hold on loosely to your own goals and ambitions no matter how noble they may be, because what the Lord has in store for you is even greater than you can imagine. Gary, many turn to you, because they trust in your relationship with Jesus, work hard to deepen that relationship and shore up that trust many have in you.
Grace and peace to you!

April 3 - Stefan Youngblood

April 3 - Stefan Youngblood

April 3 ( 4 : 3 )

“How great are His signs, How mighty His wonders! His kingdom is an eternal kingdom, His dominion endures from generation to generation”
Daniel 4:3
.
For Stefan Youngblood, worship leader/songwriter from Raleigh, NC
.
Stefan, as I pray this scripture over you, from generation to generation stands out. That what you are pouring yourself into is not only for this time and place, but it is towards His eternal Kingdom. So I pray: Jesus, Stefan is so in love with You. I pray that You will summon Stefan into Your might presence. Pour Your Spirit upon him like he has never been covered before. Lord, I sense he is struggling with something. I feel he worries that any accolades he gets takes away from Your glory. I pray now that You will encourage him, that as Your child, honor given to him, is glorifying You. Allow him to just take every thought captive, and forward all glory and honor due to You, the Lover of his soul.

April 2 - John Barfield

April 2 - John Barfield

April 2 ( 4 : 2 )

"Preach the word, be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage with great patience and careful instruction"
2 Timothy 4:2
.
For John Barfield, worship pastor for First Church of Christ in Burlington, KY
.
John, as I pray this scripture over you, the words patience and careful come across as vital. I sense John, that you are always ready, both in season and out of season to preach the word, either in song, or in deed. I feel God has really set you in a place where you can mold many, many workers for the Kingdom.
I pray that by the power of the Holy Spirit, you will have great wisdom and patience in the fine line between rebuke and encourage. I feel there are at least three powerful worship leaders under your wing at this time, and it is vital to their growth and confidence in His calling for them, that you dedicate yourself to careful instruction, and call on the Lord for the patience needed. I pray also that the Lord will bless you with new songs, and that your being faithful with what the Lord has entrusted you with, you will set an example for future generations of worshipers to usher many into the Holy of Holies. Be blessed and encouraged.

April 1 - Michelle Nugent Munley

April 1 - Michelle Nugent Munley

April 1 (4 : 1 )
.
Answer me when I call to you, O my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; be merciful to me and hear my prayer.
Psalm 4:1
.
For Michelle Nugent Munley , worship assistant at New Grace Church, Fleming Island, Florida
New Grace Church Website
.
Michelle, as I pray this scripture of you, I am drawn to the word relief and in that word I hear rest. I sense that you have not been resting well despite sleeping. I feel that you have created expectations for yourself that are not only unrealistic, but counterproductive. I feel the Lord wants to give you rest, but you have to let go. You may feel that if you don't do something, it won't get done and you will have failed in your calling some how. But I am telling you now, that your calling is rest. Be still and know that HE is God and that His purposes will be fulfilled with or without you, but He would prefer with you.
Allow yourself the same measure of grace that you afford others. You are crucial to God's Kingdom work, and He needs you rested and on the same page as Him. He will hear your prayers Michelle and He will grant you the desires of your heart. Ask for the nations and He shall give them to you, just be still.. trust.. obey.. test Him, He will not fail you.

March 31 - Jeff Lawrence

March 31 - Jeff Lawrence

March 31 ( 3 : 31 )
.

"Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise Him."
Psalm 33:1
.
For Jeff Lawrence, worship pastor for First Baptist Concord, in Farragut TN
First Baptist website
.
Jeff, as I pray for you, I get the word "feast". As I press into that, I feel that we as God's people often settle for fast food with the Lord, when He is calling us to a banquet. So I pray Father, that Jeff will help prepare the people of Concord Baptist for a feast. A feast where Your grace and mercy abound, and Your banner over them is love. I pray that Your Holy Spirit will equip Jeff to not only facilitate such a great feast, but partake in the fullness of God's offering. Send a fresh wind of Your Spirit to Concord Baptist and may Jeff recognize Your moving, and lead Your people into Your presence.

March 30 - Melody Wallace

March 30 - Melody Wallace

March 30 ( 3 : 30 )
.
"He must become greater, I must become less"
John 3:30
.
For Melody Wallace, music director for Sacred Heart Church, Fairfield, Ohio

Father, I thank You that You have richly blessed Melody with musical talent that she is pouring back into Your Kingdom. Lord may every breath You give her return as a praise to You. Speak to her Father, through Your Spirit in her quiet times, and put a new song her mouth each day. Even as You bless her, may she decrease so that You may increase. May her days be filled with grace and favor, and may all of her needs be met in You.
