Hallerin, my heart goes out to you as you deal with the passing of your Father. As I pray for you, I hear the word legacy. Not so much the work ethic he taught you, or the family name you are proud to carry, though those are valuable things. I sense the most important legacy is that he helped bring into focus in your life that internal desire for eternity and how to achieve that. So, Father God, I pray for Hallerin, that You will bring him comfort in his loss, and the blessed assurance that because of the firm foundation he has in Your gift of salvation, it will just be a short time before he is at his father's side, worshipping at Your throne. I thank You Father, for the man that Hallerin is today because of his father, salt of the earth, and a beacon of light in a world that so easily sidetracked down darkened paths. May he set an example to many on how to grieve with hope. May his days be filled with loving memories of his father that will inspire him to lift people up and show them that in which he places his trust. Your everlasting Kingdom. Show him glimpses of that glory to come, Amen!
