Father God, I pray for Doug now, though I know nothing of his life, I pray that his life will be an illustration of Your forgiveness personified. That he will show others how to resist bitterness and speak love in the face of contempt. May others see how he lives a life free of resentment and regret and want that same unanimity in their own lives. I pray for Your shalom peace to wash over him each night allowing him sweet rest and allowing him to wake each morning refreshed and renewed.
